This was mine, yamaha DT50 but in red.



Bought this off a guy at college in 1987, he actually showed me how to ride it on the edge of a railway siding.
It was used off road, but had the v5 and only needed a couple of small things for a MOT.

Brilliant bike for wheelies, used to ride it over our local park, used to do jumps, wheelies, big rear brake slides.

Had a near miss on wet grass with my mate on the back, we were coming to edge of the park and I braked but it was so wet it just carried on, we ended up in the middle of the busy road, luckily there was a break in traffic.

Yes, thats the fancy name for the CLR, no one has every heard of its properly name Was slow even for a 125.

My only experance was to ride my mate's bike in the carpark in first gear...

I was seventeen way back in 1976 and not only passed my test on a Honda CB200 but also toured it through France and Spain.

My first... not that actual bike but this one is identical a Kwak BN125 Eliminator, ordered it brand new after passing my cbt and picked up at midnight with a new reg a week or two later...

lasted just over 3 years before the engine blew up and I sold it for parts
