New track tyres definitely help to lessen the risk of crashing especially when nicely heated and pressures set correct - we know to our cost that any deviation from our sticky pirellis usually has a price eventually. Which subframe have you gone for? They are fairly easy to fit but a good idea to buy one that easily goes with a matching seat unit. We have given up on subframes with rivet nuts in them as they invariably pull out in time (especially when strained after a crash). Our best attachments have been full length bolts and nyloc nuts with suitable load spreading washers. Regardfs coxxy |
