Stop fussing, they're both tyres from a good manufacturer who knows what they're doing. I'd happily have either on my bike. If cost is a major consideration, fit whichever is cheapest.

If you need to think of it another way, try this:
No one will sell you a tyre with anything like as little grip as this for your road motorcycle now.

I spoke to the garage again but the cost of the PR2s has knocked it on the head. Conti motions it is! By the way, someone at work asked about white lettering on the side walls. The wondered if it was still cool or naff? Fingers crossed I actually get my bonus!

I'm not certain I understand, perhaps you can help. When exactly was it cool?

Had the Contis fitted, however I am having trouble with the front wobbling at anything over 40mph. They are going to look into it and hopefully get it sorted quickly. They used car weights on it but the machine says it it balanced fine and seem to run true. Aside from that they grip very well in the wet as the day I choose to have new tyres fitted the heavens open! Good tyre so far and I am looking forward to using them in the dry.

New tyre fitted today. Got drenched on the way up there though. Feels a lot better although I still get a tiny bit of wobble. They said to let it bed in and see what happens.

I have them on SK3, I don't know a great deal about tyres though. Tyres are just tyres to me, if they have tread I'm happy haha

Previous owner fitted a Diamond front tyre on my Sprint. I'll be honest & say that it feels a bit strange. When my Bridgestone rear wears out I will be fitting a matched pair of Michelins.
The Diamond seems to feel as though it's tucking under when cornering, but only for the 1st instant. Once it's over, it feels ok. The trouble is is makes you not want to tip it in. It would probably be fine, it just doesn't inspire much confidence initially

Would it be possible that having the rear wheel out of alignment would cause the bars to shake? I think when I looked last time before he checked the balance on the back that it was one notch out on the adjuster.
