It's good because it's not too popular. If it get too popular too many people do stupid things next there's a blanket 50 and speed camera on every good bit. Bit like good surf beaches, need to keep it quietish to keep it good.

Can share you a really good bit of road towards Taunton from the West if you want some excitement to/from Bodmin. But only if you've not given up by then and decided to blat it down the A38

Not sure but I think the plan is to blat the first half as quick as possible, but any info on interesting/wiggly/nadgery bits from Devon Weswards would be much appreciated!

yeah seen that before. I'm not saying that you don't go into a corner on a positive throttle, just not on FULL throttle

My bike only has 2 gears too, but that's because Nathan broke the rest of my gear box 'helping' me take off the front sprocket.

why didn't you wrap the chain back around the sprockets, tie it back together (cable tie, wire something) and then try to undo the sprocket?

The chain was around the sprocket. Didn't need to tie it back together. So long as it's hooked over the top of each sprocket, it creates a solid link. Still had to wedge a metal bar between the wheel and swingarm as the rear brake wasn't enough, then both of us had to jump on the wrench to get it undone.
