Of course not!!! Everybody knows that breasts are there to be looked at and should not be used for anything else*.

Didnt know there was a law against breastfeeding in public?? And the copper shouldve stood up for the mum and told them so. IMO this is perfectly acceptable and normal - he was out of line to make the mum feel bad about it. Tis a shame she feels she cant do it in public again because of the incident.

I say if a woman has the nerve to do it & can put up with the kids (say under 30, pointing & sniggering) & the old blokes ( say over 30, letching) then good for her & go for it.
I don't think it was the fault of the policeman anyway, he was merely carrying out his duty in investigating a complaint. |

No problem to me.
My better half was breast feeding the little terror until she was 8 months old. It was always done discreetly and the first time was quite nerve racking for both of us as we didnt know what the reaction would be. A babies gotta eat you know and it is considered to be far superior to formula milk. How can that be wrong? I'm sure everyone would want the best for their baby. Expressing may be an option but some women find it uncomfortable, even painful. Then the baby may not accept a bottle. |
