Yeah it looks as though that was the case as when Fed ex were called who he claimed to be employed by they said that they had no record of him ever working there or had any details of his vehicle and plus he never answered his phone too and when quizzed he had "lost" it.

Police didnt do a lot, they gave him a producer so he has to give them valid details in under 7days

I think that's crap, the guy gave false details and all he got was a producer.

He should have been dragged down the cop shop and been charged with something a lot stronger. Otherwise what to stop people doing it all the time. Not much different from a hit and run if you ask me.

they (the police) probably pnc'd him as well and felt that his details that they had, (name address etc) were valid and so if he doesnt produce they will get him for not producing and you have his details etc for insurance...i have not read everything so i could have got the wrong end of the stick
