Usually around 55 hours - no way near a deadline.
Record has been 85-90+ hours! - right on a deadline!

But then again, I'm a bit keen - they stop paying me at 6:00.

37.5, but with on call (but I get time back for that). Until I move to another department, then I don't do out of hours work

7.24 a day (37H a week) on flexi, so sometimes a do a bit more to get credit, other times i do very little.

normally 8:00 ish - 4:00 ish monday to friday

plus the fact the flexi time is proper abused by managers and staff alike.

About 30. Come in at 9, do all the experiments and things that need doing, then if there is nothing more to do, boss says just go home, stop wasting your time! Pretty relaxed, good job.

I tend to do about 40-odd hours, but everything over and above 37.5 I get back as time off in lieu.

Hooray for extra holidays
