Exactly. Those bikes can go around corners far better than they should be able to.
There is very little feedback from the road, once you get over that, and lean into the bends, you are laughing, unbelievably settled in bends. When I got back onto my yoke, and it was chattering all over the shop I was bricking myself.

I am very fond of those bikes, I drove an Adventure for a bit. They are a bit class. Fair play Supervox Sir.

Nice one . I cant understand why anyone would ride anything else . I love mine and it has taken a beating and I dont /cant even treat it as hard as others do. Ok, its not as trail worthy as some others but it does it all very well indeed.

On the cases, the OEM Varios are very neat and tidy (no pannier rails as such) and great for tarmac touring but if you have any aspirations to tour on unsurfaced roads/ tracks I'm not sure they are up to it, I'm looking at a set of Zegas or something for that. A pain as thats more cash.

I havent got around to a can yet, I'd like to loose some weight and the cat but quite like being 'stealthy' for lanes. www.nippynormans.co.uk is showing a remus powercone for the GS tho which is tart-tastic.

Oh and the only things that have broken are things I have put on afterwards, Touratech and Wunderlich bits etc. So there's a lesson there I reckon (well, a couple of things broke but it was my fault )

Enjoy, go and surprise a few people

GSpot on advrider tells you everything you need to know, UKGSER more whingey and less well informed IMO (excepting a few real authorities).

Hah, I'd forgotten. That guy said, "It's great, you get no feedback from the front end so you're not always feeling wee twitches and thinking you're going to crash". Not, on paper, a good thing but it seemed to work out

You'll want long legs Spidey.

I am six foot, and am reaching to touch both feet firmly down. (Part of the problem might be I weigh next to nothing I think, so the bike doesnt realise it has anyone on board )
When I was on it... I would sort of slow down in advance and roll into lights really slowly and keep it balanced to try and avoid having touch down.

Oh yeah. And you have to park it clever aswell. Heavy ******* to reverse uphill.
