We don't know how long she had £5k treatment, but God forbid that any one of us was comatose (sp) in intensive care for say 13 weeks at £5000 a week. I for one would not be saying pull the plug it too expensive.

This woman needs help not derision. It's wrong to judge her as worthless.

So her husband should give her a raw carrot or a stick of celery or an apple.
People can learn to deal with panic attacks. I have.

Trying to cop out by blaming the NHS is just ********.

Lol, if she can't move anywhere, just keep the food elsewhere.

I kind of agree that she needs help, support and encouragement to loose weight. That kind of weight loss will be long and hard.

BUT and this is what makes me and I suspect a lot of other angry. She has got to that weight by eating and now blames the NHS for not 'curing' her or doing the op to reduce her weight. She should in fact be trying her damndest to help herself, then the support networks and NHS can do that - support HER.

She needs to stop blaming everyone else and expecting the state to resolve her problems. She needs to do something for herself.

Quite literally, she has her destiny in her own hands.

Why not turn her into a local attraction? Boosting the local economy and highlighting the cause of disgustingly obese people everywhere.

They could put up a little sign with information about the exhibit. People could even be invited to watch at feeding time. There could even be a petting hour when little children could touch her leathery, inch thick carcass skin and then be told 'eat your greens, or else...'

Everyone loves to see misery in others, and the funds raised from the admission and concessions (huge tee-shirts, huge cuddly toys, real pieces of her fat) would cover her treatment costs.

Everyone would be happy.

Yeah, what you say is true.. I'm just annoyed with some people's nonchalant attitudes to weight problems and especially the name calling. It's petty and nasty.
