Nah not sad to see him go most insincere jobs for the boys worth we've ever had in politics

You've just described Gordon Brown, not Cameron.

cant agree there, maggie dragged us kicking and screaming out of the dark ages and into the light, making us an economic "force" again.....

Economics not your strong point then?
Public debt is a massive 1.3 Trillion pounds - Much higher than Britains Gross Domestic Product.
This means that the Nations wealth would be outstripped by its debt.

In other words, don't believe the hype.

Unless you live in his constituency or are a party member, then most of us didn't have a say in the matter.

We vote for the local candidate, usually a backbencher that does have an interest in local mattters.

Blair going is a start. I can't wait for the next two years to pass and we can get rid of the rest of them. New labour rose on the accusation of tory cronyism, brown envelopes etc. All I can say is pots and kettles sooty ****.

The sooner we get rid of a goverment who want to run a nanny state and get one that will encourage innovation, personal responsibility etc the better.
Just think what the 5.5 billion earmarked for identity cards that will achieve nothing to stop a terror bomber could do for the nhs or transport etc.

BBC is reporting friend Brown as saying:

"In the weeks and months ahead, my task is to show I have the new ideas, the vision and the experience to earn the trust of the British people."

How about a general election to test the water? I am really annoyed that we are having a new government foisted on us without being asked.

I think Blair is evil, but not as evil as Brown - he's an utter criminal - selling the nation's gold at the bottom of the market and raiding private pensions being the major crimes.

I hate this government, and have voted against them in all three elections. Unfortunately, they've created such a mass of non - key public sector workers (anybody seen the jobs section of the Guardian? WTF!) with nice final salary pensions etc that they've got a nice core of voters for next time.

I can't wait to see the back of them. Luckily, by lining up Brown as the next PM, they've committed political suicide.
