Yep- I got this just before the canvas started showing. It's not fun to ride with canvas patches, even in the dry!!!
As recommended here, I've got Roadtecs- pretty much identical to the Diablo Stradas... They're lovely. And Oh how you'll love riding on round tyres again! |

My roadtecs did that on the north/south last year - just before I got a puncture:-

It's Not a Strada, probably the standard Diablo. The tread patterns are diffeent (I've done 20,000 miles on Stadas so I'm pretty sure on the tread pattern).

Whatever it is,it is certainly shagged. There will be enough canvas showing to make a tent out of it soon.

![]() When my tyres get to this state it's sort of a must to do a few burnouts before I take the wheel off to change the tyre. I was quite surprised just how long I had to burn the tyre before I could actually easily see canvas. ![]() Mrs Ape was not so surprised, more totally pee'd off cause I had left the front door wide open when I did it. ![]() |

FACT. I laughed pretty hard a while back when someone suggested that Pilot Sports were too 'touring' for them, all modern tyres are ****ing brilliant, far far better than they get given credit for - there just aren't any duffers any more.
