"It is my belief that if you were allowed to be as outspoken as that in Iraq, which you claim to be YOUR country, then we wouldn't need to be fighting there today".

"However - now that you have learned how to speak out and criticise the English people who have afforded you the protection of MY country, I will gladly pay the cost of a ticket to help you pay your way back to Iraq".

"When you get there, and if you manage to survive for being as outspoken as what you are here in England, then you should be able to help straighten out the mess which YOUR Iraqi countrymen have got you into in the first place, which appears to be the reason that you have come to MY country to avoid."

Apparently the queue cheered and applauded.
So at this point there was also a journo with a tape recorder, or the cashier was very good at shorthand, and all of his comments were recorded so perfectly.
Yeh gotta be true

How people can beleve this sort of trash and not realise that whoever wrote it is simply pushing their buttons is just beyond me.

Also anyone who thinks that the invasion of a soverign state without approval from the UN is anything other than a ploy for the control of oil and gas fields is beyond me.

It does amaze me how often these war mongers have moved the goal posts on this invasion....yet thru skilfull media manipulation (including the above rubbish) they have dragged the majority of the country along behind them and got them to believe the lies they spew.

Anyone remeber that this was a "pre-emptive strike against a country that can deliver WMD to our country in less tha 45 mins" story that started this all off?
Followed by Colin Powell sitting in the UN with a vial of what he claimed was anthrax* and giving a very impressive Powerpoint presentation complete with graphics of "mobile germ labs" and the loctions of the sites housing the WMD.
Followed by "Saddam needed to be removed cos he was a bad man"
Followed by "a war on state sponspored terror"
Followed by "spreading freedom to the oppressed masses"

*If that really was anthrax then just who the hell does he think he is taking something so dangerous to a conference attended by some of the most powerful people in the world? Who gave him that right to take such a risk? And if it wasnt Anthrax then its just further proof of how big the charade was and how well it was planned to fool the guilible and scared public.

When it comes to terrorism, I'm with Mos Def and his most eloquent explanation.

every one knows it was a ploy to get oil, or whatever and that Iraq did not harbour terroists or WMD.

I for one never supported it nor do a lot of the UK forces, and we would all rather just pul out for good.

It had nothing to do wit hit and it is not in the UK's interests to be there. Well unless you include being told to by the USA one of our interests!!

Anyway, Iraq was all about oil Alan Greenspan sez so...

I don't agree with us being there, but I support the troops and the job they're doing. More so in Afghanistan!

I think the incident is bollix, urban myth stuff designed to wind folk up.

I'd like to see the end of racist shyte on here please. It's bad enough I get it stuffed through my letterbox without having to read it on here.
Yeah, its a IRA thing.
I was just ripping the p1ss, when neio79 said not all Irish were Ra heads I had to...
Its a very dated old thing that they would say, now it's basically said as a joke in Ireland, and since this thread is a just a load of the same old bulsh1t tired rhetoric you hear over and over.

Its really Tiocfaidh ár lá, it means our day will come.

I translated it to "English" anyway, so it wont google. And I wanted to make sure you Englishers do your IRA chants properly.

It tells you something I think- that they had to invent this incident in place of any real ones. D-
