£10 in the for sale sect. If it's gone you can have mine for £40

What's the CBR 600 RR like restricted?

The CBR isnt restricted, i am getting about to getting it ready to go on the road, it is a project, the bike itself is fine and was ready to go when i bought it.

However there were bits that i ddnt like, i.e all the matt black parts on what is a majority glossy bike.

So at the moment i am just adding parts to it.

So far i have

Carbon Fibre Mudguard
Carbon Fibre Chain guard
Carbon Fibre Heat Shield
Carbon Fibre Side (Seat) Panels
F.Fabri Double Bubble Screen
Power Commander 3
Honda Seat Cowel
Downgeared -1 off front sprocket.

Bits to come for it are

Steering Damper
Custom Made Tail Tidy
Smaller LED Indicators
Akrapovic or Yoshimura Exhaust system (Carbon or Titanium)
HID Light conversion
Dyno Time + Custom Map

March is when i expect to have it all done.

Got it £2350, haggled and it worked.

Now all i need is to find a belly pan that doesnt cost £255 from suzuki, a fender extender and a hugger, for the time being, i'll be getting the laser twin can set up i think when the time comes.

I'll get pics up when it arrives.

What belly pans do the majority of you SV people have on your bikes.

The OEM one is so expensive. Hugger seems to look like a red fox one and an extender from pyramid, but for belly pans i got poly26 and thats about it.

Any advice?

Morning all.

Sounds like you got a good deal there Pete. Stay on top of the cosmetics. If you're going to be using it during the winter, keep everything sprayed with Scottoil FS365 or something similar, or the road salt will literally eat it.

As the Jap bike industries annual budget for grease amounts to a single tin (& they share that) It would be well worth having the suspension linkage & the headraces stripped to grease the bearings properly. If only the Nips used grease nipples on such things eh!

OOOPS!! Better watch what I write, greasy nipples indeed! Shame on me! It might encourage more disgusting porn pictures like the one that Dreadful type Plowsie has already posted.

Cheers.

Cheers Spanner man, Plowsie,

I think i might be getting the Poly26 belly pan as it seems to cover the downpipes better, tehy dont seem to do a colour matched one for the silver SV.

However, i can get colourmatched paint made up easily and i'll spray it myself.

The huggers available looka bit ugly so i think the redfox one may be in need of purchasing.

Just out of interest does anyone have pictures of their SV 650 S K4 with Belly pans etc on, thanks very much

Pete
