Finish at 4 on 24th and back on the 27th My old job I used to get the whole Christmas week off. Bit of a reality shock this year.

Nah no coursework, exams in further fluid mechanics and engineering materials when I get back though.

Our team has to manage time off carefully to make sure there is always cover on the products we support. We do this by making holiday plans early.

Which is handy. Now my kids have grown, I'm in a similar situation and is the reason I'm working so much of Christmas. It allows my colleagues with young children to spend time with them over the holiday.
