i know but a blowtorch and some sandpaper will solve that problem
![]() anyone know if they've discontinued the SV1000s < version as i haven't seen it advertised, i've only seen the new classic models advertised and i notice the dont do 0% on the 1000 either, all of this is according to their website |

Usually either 3 years riding and over 21 or 25 Years old. Thats what I got from several places.

As I said earlier in this post, KJM are still advertising SV1000S in all black. They have it at 4999. You can find them on Biketrader. Go to new bikes and put in SV1000 and set the distance large enough to reach Standish near Wigan (I don't know how to post a link to the ad but I'm sure somebody will). The problem with the clutch was leaking slave cylinders which was rectified on later models though mine has had a new cup seal before I owned it. The clutches are also noisy but if it is excessive then the centre nuts have been known to come loose. Some nice pictures of this on SV1000.net. Some K3's had dodgy cranks that caused a hiorrenous knock. These were sorted on warrenty and there is a green elec connector that can burn up under the tank causing the bike to completely die. This happened to on guy mid corner causing a crash. Ratty
