i couldn't say but the guy at number 10 is having more than his fair share. it cant be the fuel company's because fuel is cheaper in other country's.

Diesel is now more expensive because the goverment slap a higher tax rate on it due to it being a more pollutiong fuel!! which is correct but its just another way to milk the motorist.

Ah, but diesel engines tend to be more efficient so it still generally works out cheaper. With the short-term price hikes apparently britain's a bit short of diesel production, we can meet demand but there's not much surplus, unlike petrol.

Suicidesam, I always thought the cracker/big candle was mossmorran? It's very pretty anyway

Is the Moss not run by Exxon or Esso? only been in there a few times.

Same style "candle" in Grangemouth.. bit bigger if i mind right.. and also went Bang well back in '87! Explosion heard as far as Bonnybridge.. several hundred houses lost windows that morning.. and gained a few strange metal ornaments in the gardens! The Cat reformer also went bang that year.. not as big a bang tho. Excellent saftey record down there though
