I see, maybe I can stick a magnet to the sprocket. Could you post a pic of what your set up looks like, i've no idea how to fit the hydraulic clutch so need all the help i can get!

No worries mate, i'll need to gather all the parts anyway. Did you get an improved feel on the clutch after the conversion?

not really. It's not bad, just different. It's also my first hydraulic clutch.

While it used to (dis?)engage almost as soon as I let out the lever, now it doesn't until the lever is almost all the way out. I adjusted the lever closer and have gotten used to it, but it's still a little different.

It may be a little smoother too.

Looks like a little bending would clear the mechanism from the rotor.

Could someone with a GSXR front end conversion measure the distance from the wheel centre to the magnet on the OEM disc for me please? If i divide that figure by 4 i'll get the distance i need to set one magnet from the sprocket shaft centre.
