Hi
I sent a text message to Becks (Becky) earlier today asking how he was and to have a look on here at all the messages. I received a call back a few minutes ago; Dave is still in hospital and fully conscious and alert. He was unconscious at the scene and remained so for nearly two hours, unfortunately he was hit on the left hand side and for those of you that know Dave this is his already bad leg. Fortunately it appears the bionic mans internal metal work saved any more damage from being sustained, although he bent five screws in his ankle which have had to be replaced and done so this morning. He is remaining in hospital for another night as a precaution due to being unconscious for so long. It appears that Dave was hit from the side and as he left the bike he landed awkwardly on the kerb and pedestrian barrier on his return home from work last night. The bike is not badly damaged according to the police, low speed tumble. |
