Is this question to me or the op. Anyhoo not massively tuned just full race system k&n and leaned off a bit on the dyno.

how do you mean, probably had more to do with me raging the t*ts off it everywhere for about a month tbh.

Crank is cross drilled to feed oil to starter gear bushing. It fails here.

Just to re-iterate the point others have made...

The red light will come on for a number of problems (Fuel Injection - there's a myriad of problems there that could cause the red light, oil pressure, and water temperature are only 3 categories of issue).

The LCD panel is used to clarify what the issue is.

For example, I've had the red light come on for me too, at the same time as the bike said "FI". There's even variations in that, where it's either solidly saying "FI" or it's flashing. One means it's safe to ride, but fix ASAP, the other means "turn the engine on & kiss goodbye to it."

Ah that'll explain it then, more chance there being a weak spot.
