Er......yeah.

Right yes tank slapper it is not, it is more like wobble I would say.

The bike is a month old, so tyres etc all OK, keep in mind this happens ONLY under hard fierce acceleration.

I have got a tail-tidy.

No I haven't set up the suspension with sag in mind etc.

No my bike is not a turd.

If there's anything else I've missed please let me know!!

Ha!

Have you set the sag on the suspension?

If it is really only happening on very hard acceleration then just live with it, it's just the front suspension extending, perhaps fully. A steering damper will compromise handling under other circumstances and really isn't required.

However, if you are convinced you need one, want some 'bling', unnecessary extra weight and are happy to sacrifice some manouverability at low speed then go ahead!

The wobble can also be caused by you holding onto the bars too stiffly as well.
I used to have the same problem till I changed my riding style, I now dont have any issues at all with the bike feeling unstable. Could be worth a try

Sorry if this is stupidly patronising, but are you sure the front end isn't lifting off?
