Thats a nice RVF.
The Six pots are a pain in the ****, Ive spent ages bleeding mine today!! Youve lost me on the adjustments on the front forks, they have the same adjustments as any other bike Ive had. I would have thought them more than adequate for the weight of the SV, although I know a few who have had the internals worked on to improve them. |

2) The hayabusa adjustment range is limited (in comparison to other similar forks such as the TL and GSXR750/1000) Druid

Oh right, fair enough. We have some specialist guys who service forks and do the spring changes over at UK busa's, but if you're after something more flexible I dont blame you for going into the other models!

As for springs, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a way to fit the same springs as the SRAD750, unless there is some subtle difference you can't make up for with spacer lengths etc.

![]() As for springs, totally different lengths, very different forks although externally very similar. Druid

Too different to use different length spacers?

I guess mine would fit the bill too, GSXR forks, Ohlins rear shock, 80bhp at the wheel, 171kgs fully wet with all its road kit (including heated grips, big battery and comfy seat
![]() Why? Because when I started it, there was nothing that came close to what I wanted on the market- I like little engines that have to work hard for their results, wide power bands, light weight, good suspension components, and fast but stable handling with reasonable comfort and practicality. I also like- or liked- spannering on bikes, and it's nice to have something a little leftfield. Daimo knows why people mod cars and bikes mind ![]()

Full wet including fuel?
If yours is making 80 I reckon mine's probably a little more with the hotter cams. Unless you have done some porting? I'm wanting to make room in the garage to make an even worse looking, faster, scabbier bike to worry some sportsbikes with. I reckon my SV qualifies as a sleeper, but if you know what you're looking at you can tell it's had some stuff done to it.
