I NOT TRUST JORDANS BIKES LEEDS
I know 3 or 4 people who have had major problems with them. My brother took his first bike there (YBR125) for its first service as he knew nothing about bikes at the time and wanted to keep a valid warrenty on his bike. The service cost £130 and they did rock all to the bike. Worst of all 1 week after they did the full service there was a grinding noise from the front end of the bike. The brake pads were worn to the metal and warped the brake disc. This should have been checked! We worked out that my brother had done 60 miles since the service and when we complained we was told that these things can happen. They basically expected us to beleive that the pads were fine when checked. If they cant get the simple stuff right god knows what they do wrong with the more complex stuff. I also know a guy who took his bike for valve clearance checking and the bike lasted about 30 minutes and never worked again after JORDANS handy work. Ian be VERY careful about slagging a established business in a open form especially with 2nd and 3rd hand experiences.
i would like to offer the opposing view, ive had quite a bit of work doen at Jordans, including valve clearance checks, head bearings replaced , a clutch replaced, servicing and the like, yup they seem a little expensive but ive found them to be good, and very keen to help, i have mates that reguilarily use them for both road and race prep with no problems, so theres always more than one side to a story, |

1st service is oil/filter only on any bike, hence why they charged £130....going rate....how many bikes have knackered pads at first service...not alot if any

On any bike? svracer someone or other who works at steve jordans posted the (suzuki issued) list up of what to do on 1st service. It was basically "change oil and filter, check everything"
