Haha, I like the idea of track riding, just no desire to get on the bike on the roads!

I always seem to have the urge to go for a ride, the weather just limits me as to where i go. Went out today, was great, although all the carp on the roads is making my bike extremely dirty

You only got wet because you didn't have the right gear. Get the right gear and carry on riding.

I haven't ridden for months and it's driving me loopy.

Sold my bike in September. Nothing to ride since and don't know if it'll be replaced. Head says dont replace it, spend the money on the kids, heart says FFS get a bike ASAP!!!

got a perfectly good car parked on the drive, its taxed insured and full of diesel but only really use it to go shopping i get dressed to go on the bike everyday for the daily commute, without looking out the window to check on the weather, i dont give the car a second thought, even if its pi$$ing it down, i just get on the bike and ride, its really good for unwinding after a hard days work.... imho

This is my 2nd week off the bike. Longest period of time being off it in years. Was close to breaking last night when traffic jams caused me to get home after an hour of a journey, which on the mo'sickle would be 20mins.

Grumpy does not even come close. Fever Ray CD on and a few tabs out the window to calm my jets!

Queue jumpers AAAAGH!

And I thank all those that gave me such good advice! Got back on and loved it.

I haven't ridden in a while, itching to get back on, esp now both brakes have been serviced and I have my new levers on.

BUT alas, MOT ran out, Tax runs out end of Dec, and no money.

I just know if I MOT and Tax it, we'll get non stop snow and ice and they'll just be wasted months, so I'm golding out til warmer weather.

Days like this I wish I could just use it, it's barely damp if not a little nippy, but alas.

Stick with it Tony!

I'll see you at AR11 with a massive grin on your face!

EDIT: Also getting a bit worried that I've just started getting used to thr bike, and riding, and that come Feb/March I will be all jittery again.
