Aaah, I'm sorry to hear that you're going to be out of a job. But if anything, the idea with starting your own business sounds GREAT. You should definitely do it, and best of all, if you can do it online, it would be wonderful.
I envy the people that work online, as they can go & work from anywhere in the world and not worry about it. I'd take the opportunity in a heart beat and move to a sunny island for a month, then to another sunny island & so on 'till I'd have ridden & flown all over the world

So if you ask me, it's a great way to not waste your life repeating the same routines and gives ample opportunity
to visit a buck load of places

on a serious note my bro is a solicitor (partner) in Harrogate .. Litigation mainly but he lectures at Manchester university too on ethics of law bla bla.. he may be interested about your plans .. and may be able to give you some "ins" up that way ..
