Good work so far

I guess I need to split the caliper anyway to replace the seals and clean. Hoping drilling isn't needed....

Splitting the caliper is also a PITA, as the bolts seize in place

Drilling isn't a biggie, in fact it makes getting the pins out now & in the future much easier. You just need to start off with a tiny drill bit.

But if you can split the caliper, it makes getting something on the pins much easier

Buy some stainless ones on Ebay for less problems

Got the lil blighter out.

Braided lines, new pads and fluids.

Tyres arriving on Monday so figured I'd get the back wheel off ready.

Then the fairing can go back on

Point of merriment. I installed one of the rear pads backwards so the copper slipped back was against the disc....

I also started trying to instal the front fairing forgetting that the reason for taking it off in the first place was to get the lift in place....

Nice work!

Your rear brake hose on the caliper look to be in the wrong position.

Mine comes straight off the caliper pointing forward

Yeah, the hose is quite a bit longer than the oem. It's within the max radius spec so should be ok.
