I work until I've done what needs to be done so sometimes I'm not here much at all, and other times it's 7.45 am till after 6pm. Probably averages the 37hours though.

Just goes to show that generally people in this country seem to work longer hours than the rest of
Europe. (unless of course you are a Teacher! ) Just a shame that the nation does not have a
great deal to show for it.

That’s a fair point. We have the smallest number of bank holidays in Europe. Also pretty down on annual leave. But we beat rest of Europe on sick leave! So ever all we work longer than elsewhere but take more sick time so at the end I think it equals out.

I used to work loads of hours to pay for mortgage,family,hols and bikes,but I've cut right down in the last year or so.As work has got more stressful and less secure I find myself there less and less.And I don't miss it one bit.

Contracted for 40 but sometimes work 60 and sometimes only 30. Usually, the only times I work at weekends are when I'm travelling and that's not really work.
