firstly, commiserations!

secondly, glad the bike is the one permanently damaged and not you!

thirdly...could you explain a little more what happened, (pictures maybe) because my thick head cant get around exactly what happened.

Hope any injuries heal soon and insurance goes well!

i was aproaching a junction (the traffic light kind) with all lights on solid green so i just sailed through not thinking anything was going to pull into my path, white van man was coming in the opposite direction and turning right, now there was a filter land which you get in to turn right and that traffic light stay's red untill the other traffic from the other direction (me) has gone through, when his lane is free to use you get a green pointer arrow saying its safe to go, he went through the red into my path.
