So the Test is becoming harder

taken from mcn a few weeks ago:

MCN writes:

"As of October 2008 all learners on bikes of 125cc and over will have to reach a speed of 31mph then swerve around a cone, before immediatly breaking hard to simulate an emergancy stop. The new manoevure is designed to help riders avoid cars pulling out of side streets.It forms part of an 8 min "Off road" examination of bike skills. which if failed, means the rider won't be allowed on to public roads for the full cbt"

Key points of the new cbt:
*8 min machine control test off the public highway
*swerve and brake move at 31mph.
* feet up slow riding section-at least 10secs to cover 1o meters.
*push the bike backwards round a corner and safely park it
*figure of 8 and zig zag through cones section
*emergancy stop simulation
*dangerous riding or serious failure off-road means the on-road assesment will be cancelled

so let me get this right, you base all your knowledge on what mcn print?

THEY GOT IT WRONG IN THE ARTICLE IT WAS MENT TO SAY THE NEW BIKE TEST NOT CBT

No i get my knowledge from the fact atht i WORK AT A TRAINING SCHOOL AND WEVE HAD THE SAME INFO SENT TO US!
