My CCC can is here to stay. It looks elegant, it functions well, and it's legal. I don't really care if it offends some. Lots of people do things that offend me. We live in a free country and you have to put up with things that you don't like as I'm fairly sure that everyone will be doing things that others don't like.

Err no they are not if they have the E mark on them!

i think you will find that most cans are sold road legal and still loud, some very.

i take it you still have the asthmatic can that Suzuki originally put on the SV?

oh and yes yellow bike are quite offensive!!! LOL

There is only one true colour the SV should come in and we all know that it should be Candy grand blue, no if's no buts...

if god had created the SV he would have made it Pointy in CG blue with a loud exhaust on it!!!

Because i kept catching them on my gate at home when putting the bike away every and breaking the under tray and cracking the fairing

I had them on for the past five years but it was causing a nuisance

A lot of aftermarket indicators are just crap, even some e-marks... LEDs being far and away the worst. Doesn't matter how bright they are, bright's not the issue. LEDs are more of a point source than a lamp in a reflector, and generally only the LED is lit unlike lamp indicators which usually have a diffusor or a (rubbish) reflector.

if you have say 12 small LEDs in your cluster the actual lit area is only about 1 square cm- the lit area in even the smallest lamp-and-reflector indicators is about 4 times that, in a typical mini it's about 6 times, and in a typical OE about 20-30 times that. Even the very worst lamp indicators I've ever seen light better than average LED ones, and the worst LED ones I've ever seen might as well not be on. Also, LEDs are very bad for angle visibility when mounted on a flat board. There's a few very good LED options out there but they're expensive and still rare.

The typical Motrax mini lamp indicators are, IMO, about as good as most OE indicators- at least for visibility, for durability they're mince The flushmounts I have fitted on the front are a little less visable from dead ahead, but from side-on they're much more visible than OE.

Personally it's the integrated ones, or the ones stuck right under the tail or recessed into the fairing, that I consider outright dangerous- wouldn't have them on mine, but can't say I object to someone else having them, it's their ass. Unless I'm following them on a rideout and can't tell where they're going anyway And that has happened to me more than once, the guy in front signals a junction but his indicators are rubbish so I end up almost missing a turn. So when you've got a half-asleep car driver, that's just asking for trouble.

On the other hand- if you assume that people are seeing your indicators and will act appropriately, you're very likely going to regret it. Indicators don't replace observation and evasion, so theoretically removing them should have no impact on your safety.

Loud cans... Must be getting old, but I want to make mine quieter now. I love the sound but not the volume. If I could find one that sounded exactly the same but 5-10db less, I'd have it like a shot. Tried baffles but they make it sound muffled.

Not that I've got anything terribly against louder ones but they're not for me, I used to have a pair of sonic death cannons and I felt like such a scumbag riding through quiet towns etc, I ended up selling them. I'd never claim my WRP system is quiet but it's not homicidally loud at least. I listen to my music quiet on the bus too.

what other riders do to their bike is their own business. I dont give a flying hoot

love noisy cans, raptor is particularly noisy especially in the morning when I have a head ache.
