Re: 2015 Annual Rideout Winner.
AR10.... Just for information purposes... Was organised by Hovis before he passed away. Those that carried it into fruition, did so in his memory. I was heavily pregnant and was gutted I couldn't go.
11.... Was slightly down on that particular year, but numbers were still huge . I still have the list of attendance somewhere, as I organised it. Last year's was fab! Never been to Northumberland and I'd always wanted to. It's where my avatar came from. Sadly this year , AR fell on a yearly weekend with my other bike group in Lincolnshire. However, I took the SV! Plus it was too close to the GM next month, I don't have an endless cash supply to go everywhere and it's what gets my attention when it comes to choosing where to go.

2015 Annual Rideout Winner.
No TOGMIE this year either.
Entirely LPH's fault, obviously. |

Re: 2015 Annual Rideout Winner.
TOGMIE is indeed LPH's baby.
But she has a demanding job and her partner in crime is sadly missing from being active in a posting sense. Nowt stopping anyone else organising a meeting in any area.

Maybe not this year, but how about one in Norfolk, the carrot crunch run. Kelling Heath would make a good site.

Re: 2015 Annual Rideout Winner.
No TOGMIE this year. I missed AR because the Ashes are my busiest week at work. Someone's gotta be there to keep the place running while England collapse.
But I've got smaller matches on every weekend in early September where I probably need to work and this is when we did TOGMIE, just around the time the kids go back to school. I could come up with a route without Jon, I know those roads as well as he does, but I just won't have time to do all the organising. Maybe next year if Jon's got a bike and the Aussies aren't ruling my life we'll run it again.

Re: 2015 Annual Rideout Winner.
We have to remember that for all the events it does take a team of people who are free to organise it.
Expecting just one person to organise it all is selfish.

Re: 2015 Annual Rideout Winner.
Luckily though there are loads of people with opinions and demands to ensure the organiser(s) gets as much grief as possible. We are never short of opinions.
