You can put SV forks back on

There are lots of reasons to do it:
  • With the reduction in Moto GP CC I think the market are naturally accepting the bigger isnt best which is opening up this middle of the road option.
  • The success of the relaunched GSXR 750 in 2006 has shown that there is a middle road. 600 - to small / 1000 - to big. 750 - just right.
  • They are loosing sales from ex-SV owners moving upto bigger and better performance bikes from the 650, where as a lot just want bigger and better performance.
  • As a first bike SV owners are loyal to the brand and model - why not play on this and keep them loyal by giving them their next model.
  • Aprilia Shiver, Triumph 675, Ducati 848, SV850??
  • For a large majority of the market the sound of a V-twin is what keeps us loyal. Their are very no affordable Vtwins in that middle ground.
  • Its got to be a bigger market than the B-King
I am sure we could come up with another 50 or so...

But what I really want is Honda to build one - then we will get real quality as well as affordability
I agree with everything but the honda thing! Their bikes are generally bland with lack of character... So i dont think i can agree!

If Honda made a 750cc v-twin, I'd probably be in the queue to buy it, it's just a shame they don't make anything I like, because in every other way they wee on Suzuki from a great height I reckon...

i would love an upgraded sv ! I like the v twin grunt and instant shove rather then bother with high revving inline fours. A suspension upgrade to usd/kayaba and proper xorst would be my dream bike...oh yes!! i wonder why suzuki hasnt bothered so far...

They might need us the public to push them into it... i dont know. They have to look at it some time soon im sure. I mean the engine now is 8 years old (or there abouts) and the new shape is going on 5 years old. the curvy only lasted 4 years. So who knows we might see something comming up.
