Spend lots of money on something that would otherwise be half the price if it wasnt valentines day, have to be surrounded by lots of lovey dovey people who otherwise never give each other the time of day, have hearts and roses and balloons and cards and jewllery shoved in my face telling me to buy buy buy maria's love.
no thanks. We'll do a nice card for each other, with a nice personall message in it, and maybe go for something to eat in the week...but we do that anyway every day is valentines day for me, i try and show maria i love her every day and I certainly tell her everyday...why go all out on one day of the year? |

Valentines is only comercial if you allow it to be!
Nothing like snuggeling up, dvd, nice food and just spending time together. (If you don't already do that on a regular basis!) Just making time for each other is nice! I think it is nice to make some effort just to let the other person know that you care but you don't have to go over board and pay silly restaurant prices etc. |
