Was thinking that, but thought the amount it must pump out it'd be too quick for it. And that the pump just gets the fuel to the injectors...I really don't know though we need one of the spanner wizards to comment.

Common sense would spoil the whole debate!

It lets the cylinders get a bt too much fuel in with out sparking and when you turn it back on it sorta bump starts itself as the engine is turning. Pises the fuel into exhaust where it ignites. Bit of childish thing to do. But fun every so often. Must have an effect on something but don't know what. Possible exhaust wear on the joints.

Carb models continue to draw the fuel through induction and injected models still have pressure to the injectors from the fuel pump, killing the ignition spark means that any fuel that is inducted and not ignited is pushed out into the exhaust system so that when you restart and the engine fires this fuel residue that is in the exhaust explodes-BANG.
What you are doing is putting an explosive mixture into the exhaust system and it can blow your exhaust to pieces as it is not really designed as a combustion chamber

I met a magazine journo who exploded the cans on an Aprillia Mille doing this. He'd spent the whole morning practising in tunnels and when it all went bang he'd thought he'd finally got the knack...
As punishment he was given a long term ZX6-R, which he promptly broke trying to do rolling stoppies during a rideout. After that he was only allowed to drive the coffee machine.
