In answer to it Dizz its all new to me TBH the old one was pretty basic and standard compared to this, so a lot felt new
 I have different calipers too so it is hard to tell

sorry for the derail Mr plowsie but WHY? would a braided hose on the rear be a bad thing? me thinking they were a good thing?

I heard because of the Sv torque stuff, braided hoses, beiing inclined to work better made the brake more grabby, thus locking your back wheel up......but thats derailing Monssieur Plowsies thread about his shiney new zorst......

Carry on i'm happy to talk on here, be like our own lil private getaway
The corner of the org I have noticed it is easier to lock her up yes. I enjoy doing it too but never healthy for the tyres

the engine usually lock the back wheel before the brake does tho, well when i'm riding anyhow

I have had her locking this morning but that was 3rd to first, first thing this morning and tyres weren't warm either
