SV650Sport plus alarm 4100
Insurance 250 (at least I'm 'older'!)
Arai 250
jacket 300
draggin jeans 100
scottoiler 65
fenda extenda 15
fuel oval 135

Hmm, nearly 6 grand

But worth every penny for the grin factor

It is going to be difficult this year tho' with two cars to keep going as well; something might have to give, as long as it's not the bike

Hi BT

Wish that I could say that I regularly dive, but I would be kidding myself! I got my PADI open water a few years ago in the Red Sea, after many years of 'meaning to do it'! As I have just finished a rather demanding 3 year part-time MBA course (my absence from the Org Forum over the last few months has been due to finishing off a dissertation), I can now think of planning some diving trips as well as rides! You are right about the fun things being expensive though

Where in North London are you? We lived in Muswell Hill/Crouch End for many years and always enjoy trips back

derail:- I think you'll find the open water will only allow you to dive in an organised group, you'll need your advanced to dive independently (well Padi dictates buddy diving in any case ), and hiring kit is also a problem.

Cheers Mark.

I spent about 6k in 2007 what with buying a new SV, passing my test, petrol, insurance & tax etc etc..

Prolly going to be spending another 3k in 2008 getting myself a whole new wardrobe of nice biking gear - new helmet, leathers, boots, gloves - a few little nicey's for the bike too (bungs/tail tidy..)
