Wish that I could say that I regularly dive, but I would be kidding myself! I got my PADI open water a few years ago in the Red Sea, after many years of 'meaning to do it'! As I have just finished a rather demanding 3 year part-time MBA course (my absence from the Org Forum over the last few months has been due to finishing off a dissertation), I can now think of planning some diving trips as well as rides! You are right about the fun things being expensive though ![]() Where in North London are you? We lived in Muswell Hill/Crouch End for many years and always enjoy trips back ![]() |

textiles - £650 gloves/boots - £220 insurance - £400 das - £650 helmet - £350 fuel/oil - £150 2007 total - £5400 bike - trade-in sv650s k8 - £2500 insurance - £400 leathers - £600 2008 so far :- £3500 in 14 months of biking - £9000 (not too bad) ![]() but shhh don't tell the wife ![]() oh and private plate £250 |

I spent about 6k in 2007 what with buying a new SV, passing my test, petrol, insurance & tax etc etc..
Prolly going to be spending another 3k in 2008 getting myself a whole new wardrobe of nice biking gear - new helmet, leathers, boots, gloves - a few little nicey's for the bike too (bungs/tail tidy..) |

![]() LOADSA MONEY, for me anyway. All the bling parts for Suzy, shocks, springs, Roca bellypan, stuff. Another SRX,Dave, bought that too, trip to France, tailpacks,boots oooooooooooooooooooooo allsorts, but am a bov vered, nope, cause its my selfish pleasure , I don't smoke, don't get out much( single parent) drink not a lot either. So my gift to myself is my bike
