I finally took it out on it's maiden voyage this evening! YAY!!!

It's been about a year and a half since I've ridden, but it felt so good. Like I haven't been off of one.

I pulled out my old riding pants and jacket. I was kinda skeered to try them on, but they fit! WOO HOO!!! I guess my azz hasn't gotten so fat after all.

It's spring here.......what season is it where ya'll live?

glad to hear you had a good ride janie - how was the SV? as good as you thought it would be or better? I haven't ridden mine for about 5 weeks after having a lowside but the parts are coming this week and i'll be back on the road asap.

spring is finally appearing now, it was quite sunny today and the forecasts are looking up. We had a horrific summer last year with about 3 days of sunshine and flooding all over the uk. Winter has been bitterly cold (only just started to shift into spring) and we had snow in march & at the start of april.

Hopefully the sun will stop by this year! (if we all do our sun dances each night)

It was AWESOME!! Very smooth and easy. I love riding out by the lake. It's very relaxing. I've had a kinda tough week, so it was just what I needed.

So it sounds like your seasons are in line with ours. It's mostly warm now, but we do still have those coldish days, and mornings are quite chilly....in the 40's or low 50's. Our winter wasn't too bad though.

Last summer here was the opposite of yours. We had a MAJOR drought. We still haven't caught up. The entire southeast was hit, but Tennessee/Georgia really had it rough. Hot....humid.......miserable

I think I'll ride it to work tomorrow.

you are talking about Fahrenheit there right?
