I was just saying to Lissa that the Falco's light more than likely got you into trouble. They are brilliant. If you'd have been on a Curvy you'd have had to slow down to a snails pace.

Hope you don't wait too long for the bits off of Ebay.

Watch that wrist too.

This on Ebay. Break it and make a profit.

Or this one, might still have a rad.

Aye you could well be right... Sigh. I should have slowed down. I hate it when you look back and think Culda, woulda, shoulda

Luckily for me the fairing can be used even with the big gashes (might even be able to build them back up if Flea bay proved dry. The front sub frame (I think) and radiator (I know) will fit so there are plenty to go at.

Doesnt look bad with just bikini fairing tbh

Ill post pics so you can see. Anyone know how much damage can be done to an engine when there isnt much water in there?

Head gaskets usually. I suppose you couldn't see the temp gauge in the dark.

I think I'd have got the bike recovered. Could have been something important broken on the frame or forks and you could have had another off on the way home.

Might all seem ok in the light of day, plus them 'Prilia engines is strong.

Aye I maybe should have. To be honest im lucky the bike feels streight turns fine brakes fine...

The engine showed 105 Deg C by the time I got home so not silly temp if the temp was working fine. The engine was hot to touch but you could hold the hand on it. Like you say the engines are well put together.

I suppose it depends where the temp sensor is. If there is no water to read then it's just measuring steam, but fingers crossed all's well. Most engines are hot to the touch, it's just we never normally have reason to touch them.
