No need to provide any proof at all, my good man. The question has been answered before with all the good manners one would expect.

I'm afraid it's true. She kerbed the Merc, front nearside tyre is shot, huge tear in the sidewall. This was in the town centre, so she drove it the mile to my office so I could change it in the car park.

Women
Buy her a robin reliant or a datsun or something until she's sufficiently humiliated to use her brain.

Tell her to STFU and get back in the kitchen, after this lot any influence she had on anything with wheels must be well and truly expired.

No doubts there.
Twas too good not to be true.
I don't know why we laugh at such things but that is a funny story!
(less funny if you're the one it happens too I know)

Well done Ed.
That's more aggrevation that one man should have to deal with in one night.
Certainly more than I could stand.
I would have turned into a screaming idiot long before that story was over.

Awesome story Ed, just a shame you had to go through the hardship to be able to tell it .

Hah you have far more patinence than me!
I was driving the wifes car a couple of days ago to pick up my bike finally and getting some practice in and it was weaving badly.

She was going on at me about how bad I am but I was sure it was something wrong with the car.
Pull it into a petrol station...3 flat tyres
(0 PSI Front right, 3 PSI Rear right, 6 PSI Rear left, Front left is fine for some reason even though it's the only one missing the cap..)

Wifes response was "they always do that but I never have a problem"
I was annoyed enough by that, don't like to think of going through what you did lol!

Ed, i know i shouldnt, but I lol'd at the end of your story there. A really nice story, your a good guy!

Hopefully this might promt you wife to give her car a good inspection every now and then but I suppose when you have odd noises, you panic and go blind and don't know what to do...its happened to me, I panick, shut down and get on the phone to my dad and just talk crap until he calms me down and takes me through everything slowly like im 5

Merry Christmas to you and your wife and the kids Ed
