do i need a bearing or a spacer or both ? one or other ,use a spacer with standard bearing or get a new bearing with smaller internal diameter but same outer diameter

if the twf one is the reverse do i need the original gsxr 1100 head bearing. twf bearing makes internal diameter bigger not smaller ?
hth
yc im sure will be along to confirm

cheers Dave

just a few questions
i presume they work ? (lol)
do they leek?
wheel straight ?
yoke reinforced for the risers or was it not needed ?
forks straight?
any idea if the steering lock would work ?

cheers

what about fitting the gsxr1100 bearings to the sv ? GSXR 1100 head bearings and do i need to do the bottom bearings as well or just the top ?

sorry about all the questions

cheers

just top with spacer (gsxr1100) , or you need to find a bearing with your stalk diamiter as the inner diameter of the bearing but gsxr 1100 outter diameter (new bearing on bottom comes with it but id buy matching)

thanks for the info, might be biting off more than i can chew with the seal's and things as the forks look very complicated to strip, also sourcing the correct spacer is proving difficult

im going to have to wait till i get my bike back to decide what i want to do, regarding forks and stuf

so if im still intrested i will let you know

im still interested in the forks so would i be able to take a look when your in leam spa ? will bring my old man with me to have a look as well

only thing that's bothering me is getting the spacer for the bearings, will get the forks serviced professionally so seals ant a issue
