Most modern day tents are great! personaly i like Gelert, Vango and Outwell.
The vango Rocky 4 looks a good tent at £36! bargain! |

Still got my original Vango Force 10, its a bit heavy for the bike
Nearly 30 years old, but still in great condition. Used it at AR09

Has any one had experience of transporting a pop up tent on the bike.
We have a nice vango, but as it packs round and flat I was thinking it might become a sail = ![]() And as the Camp shops are doing sales might be a good time to get a bike only tent.

Yes, the pop up ones are a bit impracticable on the bike
I bought my 3 person Vango here, but in reality its only a 2 person, and great for just me. Packs up really tiny. I haven't found anywhere cheaper. Buy last years model for even better savings. Usually its only a change in colour between the year models http://www.outdoorclearance.co.uk/

Vango banshee 3 man for me, I used it for 10 days in France in September, very good and weighs less than 2.5 kilos.
