How has this thread gone so random???? Hi Russ collar bone is half way there. Just on the list to get the plate taken out which could take another 6 months. I will be up for track days as soon as I get a bike. Which if all goes to plan could be this weekend. Prob won't be doing Mallory straight away though. Have you got any planned yet?

Spiers? What happened to Frankengixer? You booked any track days either?

Getting there, there is a possibility I get back on a bike and crap myself and then ride everywhere at 10mph. Although that wont be too bad, at least Phil would have some company at the back

Maybe we should organise a Madlanders track day sometime.

Lenny, you've obviously proved to yourself that a litre bike isn't for you and you struggle with the extra power, as a friend, can I suggest something a bit more suitable to your ability so you don't end up in a sling again...

Sorry mate but I am not as old as you so and don't know what that bike is. But you are right, a litre sports bike is too much for me. That's why I am getting a 600.

Well so you can search around for the best deal, I'll help you out, Honda cg125, I'm sure you probably learnt on one of these as most people have so you'll take to it straight away

After some experience on this, you could progress on to a restricted SV or similar, but wouldn't push it tbh.

Oooh nice a CG125. Yes I did learn on one but it was a 2004 model so looked a bit different to that. It even had a disc brake.

I think I will stick with my TS50, even though things get a bit hairy when I hit 43mph down a huge hill.

Probably I am hoping that I will be able to notice what speeds I am doing, on the Fireblade 90mph was barely ticking over. I am hoping the 600 will be more fun at slower speeds. Plus if I am honest the Fireblade scared the crap out of me sometimes, especially when the weather was less than perfect.
