I had a run in with a Subaru Imprenza last week and was quite surprised at how easy it was to beat. Not being into car's that much, I'd just heard they were quick and 4WD.
This one is supposed to be a 300bhp job (owner works same place as me). I couldn't bring myself to tell him my SV was <70bhp! he'd already given me the "i wasn't really accelerating hard" speech.

Pah! Subaru's,used to waste them all the time! Used to have 4x4 Cosworth, there has always been competion between them!

Thing is,a lot of cars (to me) seem over rated, with their BHP figures being somewhat inflated.

Being in the Motortrade,I get to drive 'quick' cars, don't get me wrong,Scooby's are fast, but not in the same way a Bike is.

Among others I've driven an Aston-Martin Vantage too, great fun in the wet, fast in the dry, but,to be honest, a tad dull. Thing is you can't exploit cars like that on the roads, and thats why I ended up selling my Cossie,it was fast/quick(0-60 4.2secs/Top speed 170+ I know because I did it) but it was boring, had SO much grip. 2WD is much more fun!

And thats why I ended up getting back into bikes, because they are exciting and most of all FUN! And you don't need to go flat out all the time to get that cheeky smile splashed all over your face!

Does anyone know what the performance figures are like when the 650 is restricted to 33bhp?
