Well it was a close thing but it seems the Huntsman and Hounds has won.

So new place for Friday Essex Lounge meets is the H & H at Althorne

Unless anyone has major objections, of course

So is that starting this Friday? I have cricket on at Lord's - our Essex boys v Middlesex - so if it goes to the bitter end I may not make it this week.

Some of us were there last Friday. There was talk of meeting there early and going on to a mass invasion of the Soho misfits.
So er, I don't know. I might even be going to Soho from a different direction.

St John's Wood > Chelmsford > Soho - nope - don't think I can manage that at the end of a long week. Though if the train strike goes ahead I may have to bike into work on Thursday and Friday. Which is why I wish I hadn't seen this news report yesterday. Was that once an R1?

Hey I go there from Colchester! If you're there by bike anyway on Friday pop down to Frith Street anyway. They're not that scary really - well most of them

Why not pop in and see us from The Wood befoe heading back to Chelmsford then? SJ wood > Soho takes about 10mins on a bike
