Well done mate.

Just to add to all the comments already about balancing social life etc, it is important so don't take the decision lightly. I had a tough choice to make when I went to uni - different to you but similar implications. I chose the tough option that meant I had less fun and regretted it for the first year or so. but would I do any different if I had my time again? Hell no.

A few years might sound like a long time, but it will fly by and all of a sudden you'll find yourself with a wicked job (hopefully) doing something you enjoy. Your mates will always be about if they are good mates.

I also think they make the work out to be harder / longer hours than it really is to wee out any lazy feckers. When I started my course they said we were expected to do 4-5 hours self study a day! I didn't do half of that!

If you decide its not for you I'll have it off you mate Sounds like right fun. Better doing 9-8 doing a job that you enjoy than doing 9-5 and hating every second your there
