Think I will probably go for the PS3. I don't go online gaming (although it seems if I wanted to with a PS3, I could) It has a blu ray player thingy (what ever that means), I can watch sky via the PS3. And I am very much used to the controller that comes with the PS3 and it feels comfortable and familiar.

Sky player is xbox not PS3, ps3 has bbc, itv and 4 players.

Also still in responce to all the online gameing things, yes xbox live is better, i dont think you will find a single person out there that will dissagree with you, but that is only because of the fact that it is a subscription service. playstation have gone for a completly different market. plus there is nothing wrong with the ps2 online ability, as i have said before the only problem i have ever had is with call of duty, and as already said that is not the console but the game itself. i have not once thort that i would rather have the xbox because of the online features.

'xbox 360 online problems' = 56,000,000 results
'ps3 online problems' = only 8,530,000 results

does that not tell you something??? ps3 might not have the wonderous subscription service that xbox does, but xbox online does go down more oftern stopping people from playing all together, ps3....might just have the occational match go down, or a couple of seconds of lag!!! whoop de do at least i am still playing!!

But if you take into consideration the amount of people who probably use xbox live over ps3 network then those figures probably don't look too bad

i'm sorry but you cant tell me that there is 650% more xbox users than ps3. i would probably go as far as to say there is more xbox users, but no 6x more. and even if there is 6x more, that still goes to show that they are just as good/bad as one another, as they are getting the same number of problems online per user

Haha, Yeah, but still proves my point that people should should saying that the xbox live is the USP for getting the xbox, i agree that still a better platform, but not that much better. plus the PS3 still has all the extra bit that the xbox does...........ps3 1 : xbox 0

but in all honesty, i still think that the online thing comes down to how many friends have ps3 over how many friends have xbox, as half the fun is being able to play with mates online. rather than little kids.

If playstation were to have a drematic change and there online platform was to better xbox, would you change? prob not as all your mates are on xbox not ps3....simples!

And cos my PS3 is a piece of **** and has broken
