She was a fast machine
She kept her motor clean
She was the best damn woman I had ever seen
She had the sightless eyes
Telling me no lies
Knockin' me out with those American thighs
Taking more than her share
Had me fighting for air
She told me to cum but I was already there

'Cause the walls start shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you...

CHORUS:
Shook me all night long
Yeah you shook me all night long

You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC

My Ruin - Terror

I am able to change
so I live without regret, without remorse only a remix
I am drunk, I am sober
heaven doesn't want me and hell's afraid I'll take over
don't bother trying to censor me or shut me up
because it won't work

Mean Man - Wasp

Storms a c-c-coming and it's gonna be me
Here comes Trouble, with a capital "T"

Oh and one of the best summaries of war, religion and politics:

I am the one, Orgasmatron, the outstretched grasping hand
My image is of agony, my servants rape the land
Obsequious and arrogant, clandestine and vain
Two thousand years of misery, of torture in my name
Hypocrisy made paramount, paranoia the law
My name is called religion, sadistic, sacred *****.

I twist the truth, I rule the world, my crown is called deceit
I am the emperor of lies, you grovel at my feet
I rob you and I slaughter you, your downfall is my gain
And still you play the sycophant and revel in you pain
And all my promises are lies, all my love is hate
I am the politician, and I decide your fate

I march before a martyred world, an army for the fight
I speak of great heroic days, of victory and might
I hold a banner drenched in blood, I urge you to be brave
I lead you to your destiny, I lead you to your grave
Your bones will build my palaces, your eyes will stud my crown
For I am Mars, the god of war, and I will cut you down.

Oh and this is one of my favourite tracks too:

What we've got here is failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach...
So, you get what we had here last week,
which is the way he wants it!
Well, he gets it!
N' I don't like it any more than you men." *

Look at your young men fighting, Look at your women crying
Look at your young men dying, The way they've always done before

Look at the hate we're breeding, Look at the fear we're feeding
Look at the lives we're leading, The way we've always done before

My hands are tied, The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of God and our human rights
And all these things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can't deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history hides the lies of our civil wars

D'you wear a black armband, When they shot the man
Who said "Peace could last forever"
And in my first memories, They shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So I never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all
That you can't trust freedom
When it's not in your hands
When everybody's fightin'
For their promised land

And, I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war

Look at the shoes your filling, Look at the blood we're spilling
Look at the world we're killing, The way we've always done before
Look in the doubt we've wallowed, Look at the leaders we've followed
Look at the lies we've swallowed, And I don't want to hear no more

My hands are tied, For all I've seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on as the years go by
With no love of God or human rights
'Cause all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil wars

"We practice selective annihilation of mayors
And government officials
For example to create a vacuum
Then we fill that vacuum
As popular war advances
Peace is closer" **

I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
And I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
I don't need one more war

I don't need one more war
Whaz so civil 'bout war anyway

Me and the Devil - was walkin' side by side from
Me & the Devil Blues - Robert Johnson (Orignally made a long ime ago)

Early this mornin'
when you knocked upon my door

Early this mornin', ooh
when you knocked upon my door

And I said, "Hello, Satan,"
I believe it's time to go."

Me and the Devil
was walkin' side by side

Me and the Devil, ooh
was walkin' side by side

And I'm goin' to beat my woman
until I get satisfied

She say you don't see why
that you will dog me 'round
spoken: Now, babe, you know you ain't doin' me
right, don'cha

She say you don't see why, ooh
that you will dog me 'round

It must-a be that old evil spirit
so deep down in the ground

You may bury my body
down by the highway side
spoken: Baby, I don't care where you bury my
body when I'm dead and gone

You may bury my body, ooh
down by the highway side

So my old evil spirit
can catch a Greyhound bus and ride

I guess Iam showing my age a bit.

But - here goes

1. Steppenwolf - Born to be wild.

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space

I like smoke and lightning
Heavy metal thunder
Racin' with the wind
And the feelin' that I'm under
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space

Like a true nature's child
We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
I never wanna die

Born to be wild
Born to be wild

2. Too old to rock and roll : Too young to die - Jethro Tull

The old Rocker wore his hair too long,
wore his trouser cuffs too tight.
Unfashionable to the end drank his ale too light.
Death's head belt buckle yesterday's dreams
the transport cafe prophet of doom.
Ringing no change in his double-sewn seams
in his post-war-babe gloom.
Now he's too old to Rock'n'Roll but he's too young to die.

He once owned a Harley Davidson and a Triumph Bonneville.
Counted his friends in burned-out spark plugs
and prays that he always will.
But he's the last of the blue blood greaser boys
all of his mates are doing time:
married with three kids up by the ring road
sold their souls straight down the line.

And some of them own little sports cars
and meet at the tennis club do's.
For drinks on a Sunday work on Monday.
They've thrown away their blue suede shoes.

Now they're too old to Rock'n'Roll and they're too young to die.

So the old Rocker gets out his bike
to make a ton before he takes his leave.
Up on the A1 by Scotch Corner
just like it used to be.
And as he flies tears in his eyes
his wind-whipped words echo the final take
and he hits the trunk road doing around 120
with no room left to brake.

And he was too old to Rock'n'Roll but he was too young to die.

No, you're never too old to Rock'n'Roll if you're too young to die.

That song has to be at least partly responsible for my former Harley ownership and my current Triumph (though it's a Speed Triple, rather than a Bonnie)

Not that I'm considering committing hari kiri on the A1 at 120mph.

And another song about death...

In Nick Cave's "The Mercy Seat" he compares the biblical Ark of the Covenant (the Mercy Seat being the lid or cover of the Ark) with the electric chair:

In Heaven His throne is made of gold
The Ark of his Testament is stowed
A throne from which I'm told
All history does unfold.
Down here it's made of wood and wire
And my body is on fire
And God is never far away.
Into the mercy seat I climb
My head is shaved, my head is wired
And like a moth that tries
To enter the bright eye
I go shuffling out of life
Just to hide in death awhile

Full lyrics here as they're quite long. Johnny Cash also did a cover version, though I prefer the original. Both of Cave's favourite subjects for lyrics - violent death and religion - are combined in this song.

I'd also post Cave's "Stagger Lee", but it's definitely not U rated. You'll have to google for it (don't if you're easily offended) and imagine him having a gospel choir singing it live

Doesn't matter if you're skinny
Doesn't matter if you're fat
You can dress up like a sultan
In your onion head hat
