My dad has a nice big scar running from his lips to his chin, from falling off his mate's bike when he was younger. But he has always encouraged me to get a bike anyway. Only rule was no open faced helmets.
Anway, he got a bike again about 5 years ago. Then my brother got a scooter 4 years ago. Then I inherited it 3 years ago, and after a year got fed up and got my test pass. I have a car license, but I actually hate driving cars. I only ride the bike, I refuse to drive, and I hate the bus. Plus, it's cheaper than the bus. I ride in rain or shine. I ride in snow and ice (slowly, whilst crying). Last winter I went to work and had to dig the bike out of snow to get out afterwards. But I love it |

Because I loved riding pillion on my mates Busa and didn't want to end up old/infirm and regret I'd not passed my test so I could ride up front when I could.
Strangley riding pilion I was completly releaxed even though in the hands of a nutter. As the rider its taken me a good 18 months to get half way as confident/relaxed as I beleive I should be |
