It was the fast group, bearing in mind it was a full day, I hoped for some people to play with, but alas there was no one really

I did get overtaken (and stayed overtaken) once in the day and that was it, and that was when I was on Phoenix (my #1 bike is more tricked out, phoenix is pure stock SV/Stock Bandit concoction, so teh suspension isn't up to much and the ground clearance is horrid (even with the peg raisers I have on it) compared to my #1 bike with proper rearsets and the ohlins rear shock height adjuster wound to the max!)) and the fork had come loose!!

Saying things like 'I had no competition on the day' is where people start thinking I am a bit of a c**t, but the fact is it is true and it is impossible to relay that sort of information without sounding like a c**t ... so I don't even bother trying these days!!

I removed it in the back of the van! ? just manhandling it really

The refit was a bit more dignified
Building a bike up from a pile of bits like that is relatively simple, it's just a big jigsaw puzzle. Getting the engine in is fairly easy if you use your head, you leave the engine on the floor and lift the frame over and down onto it, then start building the forks up and then get the swingarm in and the chain at the same time, then front wheel is fitted, then lift the rear end onto a paddock stand and fit the rear wheel and chain. That shouldn't take more than an hour and a half. From then on it gets a bit more complex as you have to route cables, wiring and hoses etc

That sounds distinctly like the gauntlet being laid down.

By the time you have finished skulking in Australasia, i will be ready for a 3-way battle for supremacy.

It is! I have have thrown it many times before (from the safety of a 10000 mile gap ) but I would like to do a trackday with Blue sometime soon.

As for this 3 way battle..... it will involve corners right? You have no chance!
