Now I'm sorry, you're clearly religious, but from my experience, the church you attend must be a very rare example.

I've been in numerous sermons/speeches etc where it's been specifically stated that if you do not do X,Y,Z then you will go to hell. I've also experienced being thrown out (and even cautioned by a police officer who was a member of the church - cautioned in relation to "disturbing the peace") for asking questions and pushing for full answers.

This has been happened to varying degrees at multiple churches, and multiple different versions of Christianity.

One of those sermons stated about giving money to support the church. The building I was in at the time was the church itself, a very modern building - including full glass front, wireless microphones for preachers, large screen TVs etc etc.

A few months later, the same church sent out a letter stating that it was the "duty of every member of the church" to sign & return the attached Direct Debit mandate, for upkeep of the building.

I also know the minister at that church takes home (I'm not sure if he pays tax, but if ministers do pay tax, it's the after tax value), £4000 per month. Funded entirely by the people who donate to the church. He never once considered taking a pay cut to pay for things with the building.

only for the first 13 years of my life or so, but by the age of about 7 i was there in body but didn't believe a word that was being said

you must attend one of those hypocritical churches like the ones i was taken to, where the violent and brutal side of god is airbrushed out to leave the loving father image polished to a mirror shine

If there is,and if God loves me and I love God,I'm a man and he's a man,and preaches"Love thy fellow man" but the Pope seems to be against this idea how can anybody take it serious.

Religion is the cause of conflict and this you can't deny

Religion doesn't cause any wars. The greed for power, blood, political prestige and money cause wars. Religion is just an excuse.

I created you lot from left over cheese I had created earlier.

Jesus is my son after a all-nighter with Lucifier, for a anthropomorphic personification he sure can drink. Make one mistake and some fool starts writing books about it...

I thought there was no 'heaven' and 'hell' in the bible?
