There definately used to be an S model Bandit 12. The gig girl's big bandit But honestly, I don't think any of the Bandits compete in this company.

I beg to differ. Although the Bandit 12 is woefully ancient, the engine has plenty grunt and even more reliable then a Honda. And had cheaply.

They don't come cheaper or speedier. It suffers from low mpg and suzuki's top notch build quality but top fun.

If it was my money....I would get a Blackbird...and go like the chuffing clappers.

But I spent it on a new black SV650S

Ohhhh.....the stupidity of existence. Cheaper insurance though.

But that's exactly what I mean... They're not bad bikes but to put them against a Tuono, Monster S4, etc, doesn't make much sense. They're cheap, but cheap's not really been the goal here has it?

I've nothing much against the Bandit, best engine Suzuki have ever made IMO, in a chassis that's merely quite bad. But then, I want a 7/11 fighter so I'm biased

I agree that a Bandit 12 can never match a Z1000 but is that the point?

My point was that a 12 is good for the cash...and that a Z can never be bought as cheaply.

Also the 12 should outlive all the competition too...well the engine will.

And then you can build that drag bike you've always wanted with it.

Anyway...I've had a rethink...better low power as it least u don't go as fast...and cheaper too...the 650 will do grand. I'm not sure if the exhaust is starting to rot through but it is starting to sound rorty. Nice.
